Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and finding the perfect gift to say “I love you” can be a challenge. Whether you’re shopping for your significant other, your child, or your best galentine, with a little bit of inspiration the process can go from frustrating to fun!

One of my favorite gift-giving tactics is to start with what I already know the recipient likes and go from there. If someone in your life is a Disney fan, finding them a sweet and creative Valentine’s Day surprise will be a piece of Mickey-shaped cake. Here are 8 Valentine’s Day gift ideas for a Disney lover, recommended by a true Mousekateer.

1. A new pair of Minnie ears.

If your Valentine enjoys going to the Disney parks, you can never go wrong by surprising her with a new pair of Minnie ears! Find a pair on Etsy themed around her favorite Disney movie, or stick to classic Valentine’s Day colors like red, pink, or rose gold.

2. A fun phone case.

Find your Valentine a phone case that reflects her personality, and she will think of you every time she sends a text or makes a call! My favorite place to shop for adorable Disney phone cases is Get It Creations

3. A Disney book.

If your Valentine is a Disney lover and a bookworm, surprise her with something new for her shelves! Entertaining with Disney has tons of cool Disney party planning ideas. Maps of the Disney Parks is full of beautiful artwork and interesting Disney history. You can also find beautiful illustrated pop up versions of classic Disney stories, like Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland, or Peter Pan

4. A cute coffee mug.

If your Valentine never leaves the house without her morning coffee, she will love a mug shaped like her favorite Disney character! You could pair it with a bag of her favorite blend or a gift card to her favorite local coffee shop.

5. Some Disney kitchen goodies.

If your Valentine enjoys baking and decorating treats, treat her to some Disney kitchenware. I’ve found lots of adorable and affordable Disney kitchen goodies at the Japanese dollar store Daiso and from discount stores like TJ Maxx. You can also find a cookbook that replicates the recipes from the Disney Parks.

6. Homemade Mickey treats or store-bought Mickey ice cream.

If your Valentine is more interested in eating Disney snacks than making them, surprise her by making something for her yourself! This is an extra thoughtful gift that’s also perfect if you’re on a budget. All you need are the cooking materials and possibly a Mickey-shaped cookie cutter.

Try making rice crispie treats dipped in chocolate and cut into Mickey shapes. Or, give your valentine a Mickey waffle maker as her gift, but fire it up on the morning of Valentine’s Day to bring her breakfast in bed!

Even if you don’t have any baking skills, you can always surprise your Valentine with Mickey ice cream bars instead of the usual box of chocolates. You can find them at Kroger!

7. Some Disney jewelry.

You can never go wrong with jewelry on Valentine’s Day! There are countless shops on Etsy that sell Disney-themed jewelry, but my favorite small business for Disney gear is Fintastic Configuration.

8. A scrapbook for memories.

If your Valentine loves to snap dozens of pictures in the Disney parks, surprise her by printing them out at Walgreens! You can put together a DIY scrapbooking kit for her with paper, stickers, and an album so that she can preserve the memories in print, or your can go the extra mile and make her a scrapbook yourself. Either way, there are lots of cool Disney photo albums out there. One of my favorites is this replica of the “Adventure Book” used by Carl and Ellie in Up.
