Is it a gnome hat… or an ice cream cone? If you’ve seen pictures of Gnome Cones on social media, it has doubtless captured your imagination with its inventive treats.

Have you ever tried the cutest shaved ice/ice cream shop in Denton, TX? Here’s my Gnome Cones review with all the details about this adorable Downtown Denton business.

The Gnome Cones Ambiance

From the moment you walk up to the storefront of Gnome Cones, you’ll be swept away by their commitment to the theme. The front awning has lovely electric blue gnome murals, and a peek inside the front door will reveal a mystical woodland alpine village with tree stump stools, mushroom decor, and plenty of gnome friends. Even the intercom used to call out orders uses a high pitched voice modifier so that the employees sound like gnomes!

The Gnome Cones Menu

The Gnome Cones menu primarily consists of their unique shaved ice flavors, like Apple Pie, Honey Green Tea, “Troll’s Blood,” and “Goblin Berry.” If you are conscious, you’ll be delighted to know their shaved ice syrups use no artificial dyes, flavors, or preservatives! Every month Gnome Cones also offers a rotating soft serve flavor topped with a mini waffle con gnome hat. When we visited, the flavor of the month was “Sweaty Yeti,” a bright blue vanilla coconut concoction. It was so delicious, we ordered a second one!

Gnome Cones also offers “Gnaughty Gnomes” spiked with alcohol for guests 21 and older, and “Gnomsicles” catered from their adorable ice cream truck.
