Travel to the Upside Down right here in Dallas, TX! The Official Stranger Things Store opened this weekend on Saturday, May 21 at Grapevine Mills, and you can step straight into your favorite scenes from the show. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the premiere of Season 4!

I’m so excited Dallas was chosen as one of the select few cities where this limited time pop up will travel. Here are some of the photo ops and merch you’ll encounter when you visit.

The Byers’ Living Room

When you first enter the interactive store, you’re greeted by the iconic Christmas lights wall in the Byers’ living room.

You can find lots of cool t-shirts and props like cereal boxes touting Stranger Things easter eggs for sale. A friendly attendant was always on hand to take photos of guests on the Byers’ couch beneath the spooky alphabet Joyce used to communicate with Will.

Hawkins on Bikes

Next you can hop on a bike and pedal for you life away from impending doom just like Mike, Lucas, and Dustin. This scene also features a Hawkins, Indiana road sign.

The Starcourt Mall

The checkout counter in the Official Stranger Things Store is themed around the Starcourt mall from the show! This creative touch made even standing in line fun and interesting.

There’s a Scoops Ahoy booth that doesn’t serve ice cream, but does sell the iconic hats and even themed ice cream scoop tools. The coolest touch was definitely the mannequins with demogorgon heads displaying merchandise.

The Palace Arcade

In this section of the store you can actually play classic arcade games! Austin tried his luck on Centipede while I took more pictures.

This room also had some of the coolest merch, and we decided to buy one of the tshirts we fell in love with.

Hawkins Lab

The final section of the Official Stranger Things Store featured Hawkins Lab. There was an extremely realistic looking demogorgon that was perfect to pose with for pictures!

They also had demogorgon plushies and demodog action figures for sale there.

Tickets for The Official Stranger Things Store

Visiting the Official Stranger Things Store is free, but you will have a better experience if you reserve your entry time online before you arrive! We grabbed free tickets from the website and strolled right in at our arrival time, but when we left the mall later there was a regular entry line that wrapped all the way around the store. You can grab tickets at this link.

I hope all of my fellow nerds enjoy this pop up as much as we did! If you’re looking for more fun things to do in Downtown Grapevine while you’re there, check out this post.
