Meet PANKY Doodle, the pancake business serving up smiles founded by Aanchal Gupta in 2020. Aanchal originally started doodling on frying pans to entice her kids to eat their breakfast. Today she has transformed her brilliant idea into a thriving business.

 

Pokémon Pancakes from PANKY Doodle

Since Austin started an exciting new job recently, I wanted to surprise him with two of his favorite things in the entire world: Pokémon and breakfast food. PANKY Doodle created the most incredible Pokémon pancakes for us that absolutely made his day! The expression on Austin’s face when he opened up that takeout box to find Pokémon Pancakes inside was priceless.

The illustrations on the pancakes were so detailed and the colors were really lovely. Most importantly, they tasted great. Austin cleaned his plate, and I even snuck a few bites myself. Gotta eat ’em all!

 

Ordering from PANKY Doodle

First, customers place an order by filling out a form on the PANKY Doodle Facebook page. You can specify the number of pancakes you want, choose from flavored batter options, remove allergens like gluten, and even request specific fruit on the side. Then you can request any characters you love and customize each pancake in your order: I chose Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, and Austin’s all-time favorite, Eevee.

After you place your order, the PANKY Doodle team will text you your invoice and confirm your delivery time. Delivery charges vary based on location, so if you want to keep the cost lower it might be a good idea to pick up your pancakes the night before for free.

If you do choose the delivery route, PANKY Doodle will text you instructions for reheating your pancakes on the morning of delivery. Their system is contactless, so an employee will bring your order straight to your door and then text you to let you know it’s waiting for you outside.

 

Breakfast Time

Once you’ve grabbed your pancake order, it’s breakfast time! The pancakes are very delicate, so handle them with care when you remove them from their box and set them on a plate. Warm them up in the microwave, and serve with syrup and fresh fruit. You’ll be smiling with every bite!
