Like I mentioned in my Harry Potter Party Food guide, the first time I tasted DIY Butterbeer was when my husband Austin made some for me on our second date! He knew we were both huge fans of the series, so he won my heart with this sugary treat. 

The amazing thing is, I’ve tried the Butterbeer served at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando and The Warner Brothers Studio Tour in London and Austin’s Butterbeer recipe tastes exactly like it! 

Here’s how you can make authentic Butterbeer for your next Harry Potter party. 

Butterbeer Recipe

1 Can of Cream Soda

1 Teaspoon of Rum Extract

1 Teaspoon of Butter Extract

2 Hearty Squeezes of Butterscotch Syrup

(We kinda eyeball this part. Take a sip to taste test before you add the topping.)

Stir everything well. Add whipped cream on top. Optionally, add some edible gold glitter for a little extra magic!
