If you spend a lot of time looking at food pics on Instagram, you’ve probably seen all the hype about Sweet Daze Dessert Bar in Richardson. If you’ve never heard of Sweet Daze, you are in for a treat (literally).
Sweet Daze has an in-store dessert bar menu and made to order specialty cakes that are nothing short of swoon-worthy. We stopped by to give them a taste test, and we’ve got the scoop on all of their delightful delicacies.

Donuts
Sweet Daze is probably most famous for their decorative donuts. Each little donut is like a tiny work of art covered in unicorn horns, mermaid tales, galaxy glazed icing, and other designs that scream cute.
Cereal Pops & Cake Pops
Picture a rice crispy treat, but replace the crispies with something more colorful and fun, like fruit loops. That’s the idea behind cereal pops. The cereal pops felt a little small for their price because they are so light, but the cake pops on the other hand were extra large. I tried a sparkly pink vanilla cake pop and enjoyed every indulgent bite.
Soft Serve Ice Cream
The most unique thing about the soft serve ice cream is the funky flavors. They rotate flavors seasonally, and right now they are offering Black Velvet, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Thai Tea, and Vegan Strawberry Lemonade. The ice cream prices range from $3.25 – $5.50 depending on the size, and extra toppings are $0.50 each.
Drink Menu
If you want something to sip while you enjoy your dessert, Sweet Daze also has a specialty drink menu. You can enjoy a simple glass of milk, hot cocoa, or lemonade flavored with lavender, strawberry, charcoal, or guava. The lovely blue ombre drinks we tried were lavender lemonades.
Specialty Cakes
The beautifully decorated cakes are the real stars of the show at Sweet Daze. They are covered in donuts, fondant, rock candy, and every sort of creative confection imaginable. Here are some pictures of our favorite show stoppers.
