While pizza is loved pretty much universally, opinion on the best place to grab a slice can definitely be diverse. Since I was born and raised in the Dallas metroplex, I’ve tried quite a few local pies and narrowed down a few favorites.

Curious about where to eat the best pizza in Dallas, TX? Here are my top three DFW pizza places you need to try today.

Cane Rosso Pizza Delia Farmers Only Dot Com

Cane Rosso

Located in Deep Ellum, White Rock Lake, Downtown Fort Worth and Downtown Carrollton, you can reach this local pizza chain from every corner of the metroplex.

My personal favorite location is in Deep Ellum, right across from Punch Bowl Social.I think the Cane Rosso flavors are honestly unbeatable. I’m a big fan of white sauce pizza, and there is something about theirs that is just special.

My go-to order is the Delia (because bacon marmalade), but I also love their veggie pizza “Farmers Only Dot Com.” If you’re in the mood for an extra appetizer, I recommend the bruschetta or the zucchini and artichoke fritters. Check out Cane Rosso’s full menu here.

Urban Crust DFW Pizza Places

Urban Crust

Did I move to Plano last year simply to live closer to Urban Crust? Maybe.

This one-of-a-kind local pizzeria is located in the Downtown Plano Arts District, and I order takeout there pretty much every time I’m craving some carbs. I’m a sucker for anything with truffle oil and everybody loves cheese, so I really like to order their signature Quattro Formaggi pizza and customize it with extra toppings.

One large signature pizza is plenty for Austin and I to share thanks to the FREE bread and dipping sauce that comes with it. The only appetizer I have sampled from Urban Crust is the Caprese, and it was thoroughly fresh and delicious. Sneak a peek at Urban Crust’s menu here.

Zanata White Pie DFW Pizza Places

Zanata

Last but certainly not least, I can’t conclude a list of my favorite Dallas pizza places without a shout out to the best restaurant in my hometown of Rockwall. Zanata serves a wide variety of Italian and Medditerranean food, including pizza that will have you licking your plate.

My usual order is the New York White Pie, but I’ve never sampled a pizza there I didn’t like. You really can’t go wrong with anything on Zanata’s menu. If you plan on adding an appetizer, definitely go for the Blue Crab Dip. You’ll enjoy it so much, you won’t care that you drove out to the burbs for dinner. View Zanata’s menu here.
