Bibliobar’s Threshing Day “Midnight” Release Party

If you want a classic midnight release party with plenty of Fourth Wing-inspired activities, Bibliobar is going all-in for Threshing Day.
The celebration begins at 8 p.m. and gives fans several hours to get into the Empyrean spirit before the clock strikes midnight. Guests can test their knowledge with Fourth Wing trivia, make their own dragon bracelets, take photos and complete a signet character test to discover which signet they might have in the world of the series.
The evening will also include themed activities, photo opportunities and giveaways, including two signed bookplates.
The $35.99 ticket includes a copy of Threshing Day, so you’ll be able to celebrate with fellow readers and leave with your copy of the newest Empyrean installment when the release officially arrives.
Good to know: This is one of the more affordable options if you want both a ticket to the party and a copy of the book.
Barnes & Noble Frisco Threshing Day Release Party

Barnes & Noble Frisco is joining the midnight-release fun with an evening of themed games, giveaways and activities leading up to the release of Threshing Day.
The event begins at 8 p.m. and continues through the book distribution and countdown toward midnight, giving fans plenty of time to hang out with fellow readers before the official release.

Threshing Day at Talking Animals Books

Talking Animals Books is throwing a late-night celebration for Threshing Day beginning at 9 p.m.
Fans can test their Fourth Wing knowledge with trivia, participate in an in-store scavenger hunt with prizes, and show off their best dragon-rider-inspired look during a costume contest.
The bookstore will also have a themed coffee bar with specialty drinks available for purchase throughout the evening.
Book pickup begins at 11 p.m., leading into the midnight release. Guests can choose between a $20 event-only ticket or a $40 event-and-book combination. The event-and-book option also includes a limited-edition art print.

Leather & Bound Threshing Night

If you want a Threshing Day celebration with a little more of a party atmosphere, Leather & Bound is pairing the midnight release with themed food, activities and a very fun souvenir.
The $60 ticket includes your copy of the book, a mystery glass dragon, small bites and trivia.
There will also be photo opportunities, so this is a good excuse to dress up in your best Basgiath-inspired attire and take some pictures while you’re there.
The event runs from 9 p.m. until midnight, with the evening building toward the book release.
Wyrd & Wand: Midnight at the Archive

For readers who want a true late-night release celebration, Wyrd & Wand is hosting “Midnight at the Archive” in Historic Downtown Waxahachie.

Waxahachie is getting a double dose of Fourth Wing fun on release night, with Paper Leaves hosting its own Threshing Day celebration just down the road from Wyrd & Wand.
There is no entry fee, although you’ll need to preorder your book to guarantee that one will be available for you at pickup. Books are $24.99 and can be paid for when you pick them up.
The evening includes a Green Arrow Coffee truck, Fourth Wing trivia with prizes, a photo opportunity, a choose-your-dragon scratch-off, temporary tattoos, a dragon craft station and exclusive merchandise.
Fans can also gather for a first-paragraph reading at midnight, followed by book sales as the release officially arrives.
